    2、水电气供应
    湖州电网是大陆华东电网的重要组成部分，境内有亚洲第一、世界第二大规模，总装机容量达180万千瓦的天荒坪抽水蓄能发电站，还有装机容量近百万千瓦的华能长兴火力发电厂。  配合国家“西气东输”工程，湖州市大力发展城市管道天燃气业务，各类用户已用上了清洁安全的西部天然气。湖州市水利、自来水、污水处理厂及城市燃气管道绸站等设施完善，城市供水充足，饮用水水质达到国家一级标准。
